Host Information

Thank you for hosting a jewelry party! We guarantee you'll have fun with your friends and colleagues and you'll get a great deal on the purchases made. Below are some of those benefits

— The host will receive 10% of the total sales from the party as credit toward purchases of jewelry from Birds and the Beads.
— For each party booked as a result of the host’s party, the host will receive $25 credit toward jewelry from Birds and the Beads.*
*Credit will be received after the party as been held.

Now, let's get started in creating your Evite:

Download the Birds and the Beads logo before beginning.

Step 1: Go to http://www.evite.com
Choose "Hostess Party" from the theme drop down menu and then click the "Get Started" button.

Step 2: a) Choose "Design Your Own Invitation" on the far right side.
b) This takes you into the invitation editing area. You will see tabs across the top of your page. The first tab says "Choose Background." Scroll down to the bottom and find the radio button that is next to the text "Upload Your Own Background Image." Click the button and then browse to the background image that you downloaded from the link above. When the image has been uploaded, click the "Select" button to go on.

Step 3: The next tab is for the "Add Main Image" page. Again, scroll down and find the radio button beside the text that says: "Upload Your Own Main Image." Click that button and browse to the logo image that you downloaded from the link above. When the image has been uploaded, click "Select" to move on.

Step 4: The next tab is the "Add Accent Images" tab. Scroll down to the radio buttons below the text: "Do Not Include Accent Images." Click both the left and right radio buttons and then choose the "Select" button to move on.

Step 5: The final tab is the "Choose Colors" tab. Choose the colors you prefer and then click the "Finish" button to move on.

Step 6: The next screen allows you to add the text of your invitation.

a) Please enter the following as the event name:
Jewelry Party featuring Birds and the Beads Jewelry Design
and be sure to include our web address: http://www.birdsandthebeads.biz

b) Fill in your name and then choose a day of the week and a time. Weekdays seem to be the best days. Fill in your location just below the date and time fields.

c) Enter the email addresses of your invitees. They are easiest to read if you separate them with returns. You can then add a message to the invitation and a message on the email notification. Finally, choose an RSVP style on the right side.

d) When you are finished editing your selections, choose the "Preview" button to see how the invitation turned out. Choose "Back" to go back to your editing screen. If you are happy with the results, choose "Send."

Step 7: The final step is registering wtih Evite and entering their confirmation code that you will receive in your email address.
